Pomegranate is Thapthim in Thai and Punica Granatum in Latin

The pomegranates are native to the region from Iran to northern India. It has been cultivated since ancient times, and it is mentioned in the bible as one of the 7 Species of special Fruit Israel was blessed with.
In my studies into pomegranate, I have found many different kinds of praises for pomegranate.
In the east, Punica Granatum as the tree is called in latin it has been considered the king of fruits since the earliest of times. I can write many articles about how the tree is and have been praised around the world, but that have to wait for another time but when I find an interesting story I will share it here.

In modern times, pomegranate, rightly recognized to as a real superfruit with a lot of healing properties.
The first time I became acquainted with this super fruit, was in a period where I suffered from insomnia and when I finally slept, it was a very restless sleep.
A friend recommended a fruit shake made from Pomegranate. I blended both pulp and seeds. I drank this shake every evening before going to sleep. After one week, the symptoms of both insomnia and restless sleep disappeared.
