[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_column_text]Chiang Mai immigration is a one stop service, here you can get almost all your VISA business done.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_column_text]Since the summer of 2015, the immigration have been located in the Promenada shopping Centre.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_column_text]You will find the Promenada about 8 kilometres west of of Chiang Mai City centre. It takes about 20 minutes to a 1/2 hour to go there by car. If you go in the morning prepare for there can be a lot of traffic.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_column_text]When you arrive to the Promenada, will find 2 main buildings, building A and building B, the immigration office is on the first floor in building A.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_column_text]You will find the entrance just under the “Tom N Toms Coffee” shop. You can only access the immigration from the outside or from the parking area. There is no access from inside the centre.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_column_text]The office hours is from 8:30 am to 16:30 pm. Most people starts to queue up, from very early in the morning. I will recommend you come early, otherwise you can risk the queue is full and you will have to come back the next day.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_column_text]When you have arrived to the immigration, you first have to find the right queue. Normally there is 3 different queues, for different kind of VISA business, each queue have sign stating what kind of business the queue it is for.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_column_text]When the immigration opens and it is your turn , you will be given a number.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_column_text]Then you wait until your number is called, when called you have to go to the counter in front of the immigration.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_column_text]At this counter, a service employee, will ask you what kind of visa business you have , and they will give you the right formulas to fill out.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_column_text]You will need to have copies of your passport taken , and some in cases you also need a picture, the service employee will tell you what pages you need to copy, and if you need a picture taken. There is a copy shop next to the counter, where you also can get your picture taken.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_column_text]When your have done your copies, remember to sign every copy. Then go sit down in the coffee shop and fill out your papers. When that is done go back to the counter and let them check everything is order. They will give you a new number, take that number and go inside the immigration office.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]
When in the office, and your number is called, go to counter and show your papers.
